PumpComparison.com is an independent comparison resource for pool pump buyers. We publish spec-for-spec breakdowns of the most popular inground pool pumps, with a focus on the data that actually matters at purchase time: price, warranty, energy cost, flow rate, and drop-in compatibility.

We are not affiliated with Hayward, Pentair, Sta-Rite, or BLACK+DECKER. We do not manufacture, distribute, or service pool pumps. Our job is to help you understand the differences so you can make a confident, informed decision.

How we research

Each comparison page is built from a combination of manufacturer specifications, publicly available Energy Star data, and real-world installation notes. Where pricing is shown, it reflects current retail pricing at the time of publication and is updated periodically.
